Vision Statement

The Town of Thompson’s Station is a dynamic community with many options for the development of corporate campuses, commercial centers, recreational opportunities, etc. The vision of the Town is to promote a diverse area for economic activity for our community. The impacts that are generated from a well thought out strategic plan are job creation; business location and expansion; and increased quality of life. The Town looks to provide this positive strategic plan and provide an environment open to existing and future economic activity. This will help the Town effectively compete with other jurisdictions to provide an atmosphere conducive to the generation solid business opportunities for companies which are starting up, expanding, or relocating.

Mission Statement

The Town of Thompson’s Station Economic Development Steering Committee is intended to provide leadership and direction to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen in accomplishing a sound economic development strategy for future development within the Town and within the Urban Growth Boundary.  The mission of this leadership is to foster a strong environment that will attract, retain and grow economic activity that will benefit the community as a whole by increasing the economic base while promoting a high quality of life and accomplishing a variety of economic activities through appropriate planning efforts.
