The Board of Mayor and Aldermen comprises five elected officials: the mayor and four Town aldermen. The Board is responsible for establishing Town policies and procedures by considering and passing ordinances and/or resolutions that, in turn, are implemented by appropriate Town departments. Day-to-day operations are overseen by an appointed Town Administrator, Greg Langeliers (glangeliers@thompsons-station.com 615-794-4333). The Board of Mayor and Alderman meets at the Town Community Center (1555 Thompson’s Station Road West) on the second Tuesday of each month, except for July and December.
To have an item placed on the agenda, submit a written request to the attention of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, Town of Thompson’s Station, P.O. Box 100, Thompson’s Station, TN 37179. Requests should be submitted at least 15 days prior to the meeting date.
If a request requires action by another board or commission before the Board of Mayor and Alderman can act on it, the item will be forwarded to the appropriate board and a notice mailed to the submitter. Agendas are posted on this webpage at least five days in advance of meetings.
