During its last regular meeting, the Board of Mayor and Alderman voted unanimously to adopt a utilities board for the town in order to help the town find a permanent solution.
“We’ve been having the discussion about how to get more citizens engaged, helping the town. Bringing their personal and professional aptitudes and talents to help. Waste water is obviously a big component of our future,” Mayor Corey Napier said.
Napier added the BOMA would still regulate the board, though it would have spending powers up to $10,000. -- per Chris Yow, Spring Hill Advertiser News
