Thompson’s Station, an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant engineering firm to provide services related to construction of Phase II of the Thompson's Station Greenway which will extend from the end of the existing greenway near Nutro Dog Park and traverse through Preservation Park south to Thompson's Station Road, West. The greenway will consist of a 12 foot wide asphalt path which will be designed to comply with TDOT and ADA requirements. The project has received an Alternative Transportation Program (ATP) grant and therefore is funded through federal grant money implemented through the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). The project shall be accomplished in accordance with TDOT Local Programs guidelines. The professional consultant engineering consulting firm must be on TDOT’s pre-approved list or have a completed pre-qualification form filed with TDOT by the deadline for the Letters of Interest. The prequalified firm must have unlimited status. Responsibilities of the professional consultant firm include, but are not limited to:

• Right of Way plans – 9/2020
• Construction plans – 1/2021
• Bidding and commencement of the project – 4/2021
• End construction 8/2021
Firms may request consideration by submitting a letter of interest along with qualifications to the Town of Thompson’s Station, P.O. Box 100, TN 37179. Attn: Wendy Deats. All letters of interest must be received by the Town of Thompson’s Station on or before October 25, 2019. The letter of interest and qualifications shall indicate the scope of services to be completed by any sub-consultants. This will be a cost-plus contract.
