The Town of Thompson’s Station would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their interest in the Town’s Community Gardens. Unfortunately, due to road construction the ingress/egress to the gardens from Highway 31 has been adversely impacted and is closed at this time. The development of this road, and related project, will ultimately be a fine addition to the environs and the town at large. In addition, “drip field” construction will likely create additional ingress/egress issues in the area going forward. The Town of Thompson’s Station will offer the following three options to gardeners:
1. If payment has been received you may request a full refund.
2. You may choose to roll your payment over to next year.
3. You may access the garden from the Tollgate Village Clubhouse parking area, which is on non-public property; therefore, this is an individual choice. During these times we hope that all parties will be cooperative and good neighbors but cannot make any such assurances.
If you should choose option three you will also need to adhere to directives issued by the State of Tennessee and others with respect to social distancing and related COVID-19 guidance. Any use of these facilities or the adjoining dog parks remains at the discretion of the individual and is therefore at their own risk.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during these difficult times. The Town of Thompson’s Station continues to keep these areas open for the enrichment and enjoyment of our community. Please accept our most sincere apology for any inconvenience.
