The 30th anniversary of incorporation for the Town of Thompson’s Station has come!  On August 15, 1990, local residents voted for incorporation of the Town with the Original Town Limits shown on the map.  Since then, the Town has more than doubled in physical size and population.

A Celebration for the 30th Anniversary was planned for this Fall to take the place of the Dog N Pony Show Festival but the Public Health Emergency has postponed the event.  The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will be determining when to hold the event with the possibility of it being pushed to next year still being considered.  Parks and Rec. Board Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month except July & December and are currently being live-streamed.  Contact Jennifer Jones at Town Hall for more information.

Featured below is a news article from the 10 year anniversary of the Town incorporation including pictures of the first Board of Mayor and Alderman: David Coleman, Tim Neal and Sarah Benson and news about the Town from 20 years ago.  Time sure does fly!     PDF of the full Journal Article
