Williamson County Emergency Management Agency
Situation Report
Winter Storm 2021
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 0600 hrs Tuesday 16 February 2021.
Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches (depending on
the location within the county) and ice accumulations of one tenth to a quarter of an inch.
Current lull in activity is forecasted to transition to a sleet/freezing rain around 1000-1100. By
mid-afternoon, precipitation will change over to snow. By the evening, the snow should taper
off and will be followed by continued freezing temperatures. This will continue to make the
precipitation on the ground frozen and possibly impacting travel.
Williamson County Parks and Recreation will remain closed (15 February 2021).
• The Convenience Centers remain closed.
• Williamson County Schools are closed for the President’s Day Holiday. SACC childcare
sites will also be closed Monday.
