Is there a cap to my wastewater bill?: No, the cap on wastewater bills was removed by the Board of Mayor and Alderman at their March 9th 2021 meeting. Your bill is calculated based on the monthly usage information given to us by HB&TS. If you would like to gauge how much water you use on a daily basis, please try this survey from USGS.gov. 1. What are my Utilities?: The Town of Thompson's Station offers sewer service only in the following subdivisions: The Fields of Canterbury, Avenue Downs, Tollgate Village, Whistle Stop, and Bridgemore Village. There is also sewer service in the Heritage Commons commercial district. There is no trash service contracted with the Town. (Residents in subdivisions contact your HOA) Thompson's Station has water service provided by H.B. & T.S. (Hillsboro, Burwood & Thompson's Station) Utility District Gas service is provided by Atomos Energy. Electricity is provided by the Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation (MTEMC).

2. Do I need to stop by Town Hall to sign-up for wastewater service?: No, just fill out the Wastewater Service Application or call the Town Finance Director at 615-794-4333 ext. 4.

3. How to Get a Business License: The Town Finance Director handles new businesses in Thompson’s Station. Contact the Finance Director at their office (Direct: 615-219-0809) or stop by Town Hall at 1550 Thompson’s Station Rd West, Thompson’s Station, TN 37179. License renewals are handled by the Tennessee Department of Revenue. They verify tax information and send notice to us to renew the license.
